I am Becki, a self-taught designer and the owner of Becki Leigh Studios.

Searching for a better balance in my life, my little business was created out of the burning desire to be able to quit the corporate office world I had spent so many years being a slave too and live life on my own terms! I wanted to seek a happier balance where I could spend more time with my children, work flexibly from home and have time to discover hobbies and life that I missed out on as a workaholic! So, setting off with a pen in hand, I set about creating the future I desperately sought.

Ironically, I am now busier than ever but in ways that completely fulfil me! Shock horror - I have not lost my workaholic streak, but instead I now take great pride in using my ambitions to drive the success of my own small business. I get to do school runs, read bedtime stories, go wild with my imagination and creativity, and work hours around my home life and all those appointments that creep up in day-to-day family life. I've discovered a love for running and spending more time outdoors and just love the sense of pride I have from every single sale I now make for my family.

My little business is my 4th baby and I am so proud of what we have managed to achieve in such a short space of time. My products are influenced by my love of nature and changing seasons and use a combination of my own illustrations and those of a select few talented artists to create designs I hope are unique and loved by my customers.
